Very tasty sandwich and fries. Chicken taken home and after a short warm-up in the oven, despite the long journey, crispy and very tasty! Very nice young people behind the counter!
Very juicy chicken and delicious sweet potato fries, still crispy despite being transported home, price is okay for the quality
I've been here a total of 7 times now. Right on the first day when Tohru was still behind the counter. And most recently yesterday, over 6 months later, just before Lockdown light. We were always served in a friendly manner, whether it was a takeaway or 3 times on site. So we have e.g. Got fabulous fresh Karaage (Japanese fried chicken pieces) yesterday and sat alone in the restaurant for over 30 minutes. My 3 year old son also loves the chicken and white rice. For me as a half-Japanese, the chicken parts are known as from Japan. Nice and crispy on the outside and always juicy on the inside (a little fat is always part of it). I think the price is absolutely ok. Meat from good origins is not cheap. A quick note, Tohru can still guess at the comic logo image, the recipe also seems to have stayed the same, but his name is no longer under the logo. I think that has to do with the abandonment of the Werneckhof due to the corona regulations, and thus the separation of Geisel and Nakamura. From the outset, however, the aim was not to be a 2-star restaurant, but to bring Japanese street food to Munich. I would definitely like to keep coming. Please also hold out the 2nd lockdown !! Fingers crossed!
Just embarrassing the store. Even for half the price, I don't go there anymore. Anyone who thinks that's good fried chicken can go just as well with KFC. But if you have taste buds, I recommend that you simply go to any Japanese-run restaurant for Kaarage and get a thousand times better fried chicken there for certainly less money.
Much overrated and way too expensive for fried chicken
Chickens are good quality. However, they are not so well seasoned in terms of taste. Prices are high.
Two people were there today on a weekday at 1 p.m. Although there was little going on and the snack bar was manned by three employees, everything seemed very uncoordinated and we had to wait a good 15 minutes for our order. The miso was strong and a bit hard on the salt, but still good to eat. The chicken pieces were a bit greasy but juicy and quickly put an end to my slight hangover. When the service has become more organized, I'll come for a second round.
Unfortunately my expectations were not met ... Almost cold, already rickety chicken parts and very greasy ... too expensive for this quality
Apparently some problems have been fixed in the meantime, my chicken was really seasoned, very cross on the outside, and fresh and juicy on the inside
Great "fast food" and extremely friendly and courteous service. DELICIOUS. We come more often now.
Very expensive for the big one. Nothing special, the chicken is too salty and the miso soup is not a miso soup, but a fatty soup.
Fried chicken is delicious, but € 8.50 for two chicken legs and a wing is pretty bad even for Munich.
Unfortunately, very disappointing. The chicken is good quality, but very little for a lot of money. Salt, sprinkle with less tasty paprika powder and the sauces are also weak. Sweet chili sauce from the bottle, commercial soy sauce and the mayo also in bulk. For so much money, I would have expected more, especially from a great chef like Nakamura.
very good!
Chicken unfortunately very dry
Getting good fried chicken is not easy in Munich and therefore the approach of this small street food joint by Tohru Nakamura is very welcome. The chicken is crispy, the soup strong and aromatic and the salad fresh. Nice! Guys, I'm hungry! Food: crispy Ambience: street food-like Service: professional Prices: high
Unfortunately, the soup is too salty. Fried chicken nothing special.
Phantastic Asian fried chicken, lovely staff and quick ly served! Can't wait to be back :)
Unfortunately nothing special, we had 3 Friedchicken one of them was salted the chicken were not freshly prepared and that for 8, 50 euros without a side dish. Since I expected more, unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't fit here.
Delicious!
